The Department of Health Care and the Population Protection interconnects health care study programs with programs focused on protection of population and this is reflected in the specialization of our teaching staff and externs. In addition, cooperation on solving scientific-research and pedagogical tasks with the academic workplaces of some universities is another benefit. The Department of Health Care and Population Protection offers:

The Department of Health Care and Population Protection offers bachelor's degree programs in Physiotherapy; Paramedics; Radiology Assistance; Medical Laboratory Technician; Medical Laboratory Diagnostics; Planning and Management of Crisis Situation. The follow-up Master study program offered is Civil Emergency Planning, and the Department of Health Care and Population Protection is used as a training center for the doctoral study program Civil Emergency Preparedness.
